Legal notice

Information published pursuant to Book XII of the Code of Economic Law, which requires every Belgian company with a website to identify itself clearly and in a directly accessible manner. Last updated: 20 August 2026.

Legal notice — Prestige Tapis Bruxelles

Site publisher

The site prestigetapisbruxelles.be is published by Prestige Tapis Bruxelles, whose workshop and registered office are at place du Grand Sablon, 1000 Brussels.

Telephone: +32 478 05 84 84. E-mail: prestigetapisbruxelles@gmail.com.

The activity carried on — buying and selling, washing and restoring rugs, maintaining textile floor coverings — is not a regulated profession. It is subject to no prior authorisation, no particular supervisory authority and no code of conduct. Should that change, a note would be added here.

Hosting

The site is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd, 61 Lordou Vironos Street, 6023 Larnaca, Cyprus.

The host plays no part in the editorial content of the site. Any request, complaint or report concerning the content must be addressed to the publisher, at the contact details given above.

Intellectual property

The texts, photographs, illustrations, technical diagrams, layout and source code of this site are protected by Book XI of the Code of Economic Law and by the international conventions on copyright. They are the property of the publisher or of its rightholders.

Any reproduction, adaptation, translation, extraction or communication to the public, in whole or in part, on any medium whatsoever, is prohibited without the prior written authorisation of the publisher. Short quotation remains permitted provided the source is given and a link points back to the original page.

The names of origins, techniques and knots used in the texts are trade terms and do not constitute trade marks. Any trade marks mentioned remain the property of their respective holders.

Limitation of liability

This site is an information site. The technical descriptions it contains are general: they set out principles of the trade, not the state of any particular rug or floor covering. They constitute neither a diagnosis, nor individual advice, nor any undertaking as to results.

Nothing stated on this site constitutes an offer in the legal sense. Only a written, dated and accepted quote binds the publisher. The turnaround times announced — in particular the costed answer within 48 working hours to a request accompanied by photographs — are understood to exclude Belgian public holidays and closure periods announced on the site.

The publisher keeps the content up to date with care, but does not guarantee that it is complete or permanently accurate, and reserves the right to modify it at any time without notice. It cannot be held liable for any indirect damage resulting from the use of the site or from its temporary unavailability.

The site may link to third-party sites through hypertext links. The publisher exercises no control over their content and disclaims all liability in their regard.

Personal data and cookies

The processing of the data sent through the contact form is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of this notice.

The site sets only the cookies strictly necessary for its operation and for the security of the form submission; those do not require prior consent. No audience-measurement, advertising or social-network cookie is set. Should such a tool be added, a consent banner would be put in place and this paragraph amended accordingly.

Applicable law and settlement of disputes

This notice and the use of the site are governed by Belgian law.

In the event of difficulty, the parties first seek an amicable solution: write to prestigetapisbruxelles@gmail.com setting out the problem and the solution you expect. A consumer may in addition apply to the Consumer Mediation Service, which is competent in Belgium for the out-of-court settlement of consumer disputes, or to the contact point of the Federal Public Service Economy.

Failing agreement, the courts and tribunals of the judicial district of Brussels have sole jurisdiction — without prejudice to the mandatory rules protecting consumers, who retain the right to bring proceedings before the court of their own domicile.

To be completed before going live

The company registration number (CBE), the VAT number and the full street address must appear here. Book XII of the Belgian Code of Economic Law makes them compulsory for any Belgian business website. Fill them in data/config.py, then rebuild.
